Put a Key Finder on your GPS in case you lose it too!

Today I lost my GPS. Oh, it's at home I am sure, but instead of helping me find my way around, it is safe somewhere keeping socks company or something.

I though I had this licked, I mean I have my phone tagged with a FOFA Find One Find All device, my reading glasses with one, my wallet, my keys. I can now find any of them any time I want (if I can find just one of them, it's FOFA will lead me to the rest)

Who would have thought I needed one on my GPS! Oh well I guess I will have to find it the old fashioned way once more.

Be sure though, as soon as I do, it is becoming number 5 in my FOFA setup!

The Father's Day Ultimate Man Cave Gift!

When your Dad gets together with his friends, they now have a name for the place - the Man Cave. A man cave can be anywhere, but garages are the most popular, or any place where the girls would rather not go to get dirty. Of course once there, your guy needs something to show off - Our little 2-Way Key finders are just the ticket it seems. Father's Day 2009 is on June 21st and is a busy time for Melbourne Designs, LLC, the makers of FOFA, or Find One Find All Key Finders. Lucky Dads will get to see their buddies' eyes sparkle (if they have not had too many beers by that point) with envy as they see a demonstration of FOFAs remarkable 2-Way finding ability and radio feedback bells and whistles. Wisking his wallet out, Dad can show how his keys can find it and vice versa. Whats is your Man Cave?

Find One Find All® Key Finders Set of 2 Keyfobs is $24.95

My FOFA® Glasses Finder gets it's first real test ...

Well, I knew it had to happen eventually, I really lost my $300 prescription glasses. I have only had them a few weeks! But, not to worry! For attached to them is one of our unique Find One Find All® Finders (FOFA® for short)

First I looked around for any of my stuff. I grabbed my cell phone, which has a FOFA keyfob attached to it. I pushed the button marked "6" (this is my glasses' number) to transmit.

Nothing, no sound from anywhere and no radio feedback at all! I moved around the house and still no reply from the glasses. I went outside and pushed the button again. Feedback! My glasses were outside? How can that be? I looked at my car and suddenly remembered where they were! I opened the car door and immediately heard the glasses beeping away!

Total time looking - about 1 min if that! Is that cool or what?

What if I couldn't find the phone? I would have used my Wallet to find it - it has a Flat FOFA in it!

Are FOFA Key Finders FCC Approved? What an odd question!

We recently received an odd question from an online auction site. Are FOFA Key Finders FCC Approved (of course they are!)

What makes this question really strange is - you are NOT allowed to import radio devices that are NOT FCC approved - the US Customs folks make you fill in forms that promise fines, prison time or worse for non compliance. What is going on?

Are folks importing non-FCC approved devices into the USA, then selling them on eBay or Amazon? Let's hope not, you wouldn't want your grandfather's pacemaker shutting off when you use your new gadget!

So turn over your radio gadget- does it have it's FCC ID on the back? No? Turn it off, take out the battery, and send it back - just in case operating the thing is illegal too!

FOFA's FCC Numbers are B4SKXD-27 , B4SFXD-27 , B4SGXD-27
They are also CE (Europe) Approved and also RoHS Compliant (enviromentally safe)

National Federation of the Blind using FOFAs

It was always our intention for our Patented 2-Way FOFA (Find One Find All ) Key Finders to be really useful gadgets to all of us, but imagine our pride to think they are now helping folks who cannot see so well!
Our tiny keyfinders have Braille key pads and sound/light programming deliberatly for that reason of course.

We even modified our website (below) with the help of a visually-challenged person (thanks Brenda) so that the "alt" tags for each picture or video tell the page readers folks use what is in each picture - something we had not realised was an issue.

Thanks to everyone that has supported FOFA - We do appreciate it!
